Question:

What is the ruling on the Husseiniyahs of the Raafidis and the things that are done there such as slapping and scratching the cheeks, wailing, rending one's garments and beating oneself, sometimes with chains, whilst calling upon the dead and the noble Ahl al-Bayt (members of the Prophet’s household) for help?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

This is a great evil and a reprehensible bid’ah (innovation) which should be avoided. It is not permissible to take part in it or to eat the food that is offered on these occasions, because the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever does an action that is not a part of this matter of ours (Islam) will have it rejected” (narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh, and narrated by al-Bukhaari (may Allaah have mercy on him) in his Saheeh, mu’allaq majzoom). And there are many ahaadeeth with similar meanings.

With regard to seeking the help of the dead and the Ahl al-Bayt, this is a form of major shirk, according to the consensus of the scholars, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allaah, any other ilaah (god), of whom he has no proof; then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely, Al‑Kaafiroon (the disbelievers in Allaah and in the Oneness of Allaah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters) will not be successful”[al-Mu’minoon 23:117]

“And the mosques are for Allaah (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allaah”[al-Jinn 72:18]

“And who is more astray than one who calls on (invokes) besides Allaah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them? And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become their enemies and will deny their worshipping [al-Ahqaaf 46:5-6]

“He merges the night into the day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added to the hours of the day), and He merges the day into the night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added to the hours of the night). And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allaah, your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmeer (the thin membrane over the date stone).If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call; and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad) like Him Who is the All‑Knower (of everything)[Faatir 35:13-14]

And there are many aayaat with similar meanings.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “He is cursed who offers sacrifices to anyone other than Allaah.”

What is obligatory upon all of the Shi’ah and on everyone else is to worship Allaah alone in sincerity, and to beware of calling upon anyone other than Allaah for help, or of praying to the dead or absent, whether they are from the Ahl al-Bayt or otherwise.

It is also obligatory to avoid praying to or seeking the help of inanimate objects such as idols, stars, etc., on the basis of the same shar’i evidence (daleel) that we have mentioned above.

The scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah, of the Sahaabah and others, are unanimously agreed upon this matter.

Secondly: what is the ruling on the sacrifices which are offered in those places on these occasions? What is the ruling on the drinks that are distributed in the streets and to the general public?

The answer to this question is the same as the answer to the first question, which is that it is a reprehensible bid’ah and it is not permissible to take part in it, or to eat the meat of these sacrifices, or to drink any of these drinks. If the sacrifices have been made to anyone other than Allaah, from among the Ahl al-Bayt or anyone else, this is major shirk, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say (O Muhammad): ‘Verily, my Salaah (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allaah, the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims’”[al-An’aam 6:162-163]

“Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad) Al‑Kawthar (a river in Paradise). Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). [al-Kawthar 108:1-2]

And there are many aayaat and ahaadeeth with similar meanings.

We ask Allaah to help us and you and all the Muslims to do all that He loves and is pleasing to Him, and to grant us and you and all of our brothers refuge from misleading temptations, for He is Ever Near and Ready to respond.

The one they call -or as it appears in the cover of the book – ‘allamah al-hujjah sayyid ….. to the end’ says in this book – clarifying and leaving no doubt about what they really believe regarding The Holy Qura’n :

‘ and in summary the narrations and quotations -which are many if not concurrent- from the Family of the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) that the present Quran is not the complete Quran which was revealed to the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).

In fact, there are verses that contradict that which was revealed by Allaah; and in it are verses that have been distorted, and there are places where many omissions have been made such as the names of Ali -in many places, and the title of the Family of Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), and the names of the hypocrites , and other things.

Moreover also that the present order of the Quran is not according to the preferred order of Allash and His Messenger (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). As is also noted in the tafsir of Ali ibn Ibrahim (a renowned commentator of the shia) .’

In a clear picture of how the shia look at the Muslims – The Ahlus Sunnah – , and how they deem us to be disbelievers and ‘impure’ : look at what they have in some of the most prominent of their books of tafseer : Tafseer al-Ayyashi, & Tafseer al-Burhaan . This quote is availabe in both books , but we prove it from Tafseer al-Ayyashi, he says :

“It was narrated that [Imam] Abu Abdullah said : No infant is born but a certain Satan from among the satans is in his presence. If Allaah knew that he [the infant] would be of our Shiia; He protects him from that Satan. If he wouldn’t be of our Shiia, Satan sticks his finger in his anus, thus [if its a female he] becomes a catamite, and If it [the infant] was a female, he sticks his finger in her vagina, thus she becomes a whore. Allaah then afterwards clears what He desires or affirms, for with Him is the book of Knowledge.”

Mut’ah – Temporary Illegal Enjoyment

alhamdulillaah ,

today we begin the first detailed post on proving that the shia make illegal intercourse ; legal. And rather they hold it to be from the greatest acts of worship !

The narrations they have in their main books -in this subject- are just ludicrous and clearly devilish.

As for proving that Mut’ah is haraam , this is clear , and we will be sufficed with what has been written in the other Sunni sites [linked on our homepage] ; so for those who wish for that , they should refer there.

Here , we prove the fact that indeed these heretics have made the loaning of private parts permissible, and we prove that they have created lies and fell into heresy by even refering these nasty & false narrations back to Allaah , and His Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam), the Companions, and the Imaams [who are free from them - even though they ascribe themselves to them].

These quotes are from the book ‘Mustadrak al-wasilah’ , it says :

From Saleem bin ‘Aqabah that his father said : ‘I asked Imam al-baqir (may peace be on him) is there a reward for the one who does mut’ah.?’

The imaam said: “Yes, if it is practiced for seeking the pleasure of Allah and to oppose fulaan [someone - I dont know who they mean by this].

And as such he will not talk to her [the woman] any word ; except that Allaah records a virtue for him. And when he gets close to her [engages in the sexual act with the woman] ; Allah forgives for him his sins. And when he takes a bath [after the act]; Allah forgives his sins equal to the amount of water which passed on his hair .”

I [The narrator] said [inquired in surprise]: “Equal to the amount of hair on their bodies?”

The imam replied: “Yes, according to the number of hairs [wet by the water]..”

he said : ” Indeed Allaah The Most Mighty The Most Majestic , Has made impermissible for our shia ; all that which intoxicates from any drink – and substituted in its place -for them- Mut’ah.”

Is it obligatory to follow the Sunnah?
Obeying Allaah is without doubt, obligatory. So when Allaah says: Whosoever obeys the Messenger, has indeed obeyed Allaah (Surah An-Nisa 4:80), it should be clear that one has obeyed Allaah by obeying the Messenger. Furthermore Muhammad said: whosoever disobeys me, disobeys Allaah[3]. Following the Sunnah is clearly an obligation upon every Muslim.
The obligation is stressed even more when Allaah says: But no, by your Lord, they can have no faith, until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept them with full submission (Sura An-Nisa 4:65) and :
It is not fitting for a believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decreed by Allaah and His Messenger to have any choice in the matter. If anyone disobeys Allaah and His Messenger he is clearly astray (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36). As Muslims we know that when Allaah or His Messenger decree something for us, it will always benefit us, even if we do not realize it. Thus, submitting to the Messenger is only there for our benefit and not to oppress us, as some mistakenly believe.
It must also be remembered that besides being the Messenger of Allaah, Muhammad was an Arab man living in seventh century Arabia. This meant that he had his own personal tastes and preferences just like any other mortal. These preferences are clearly distinguished from the Islamic law which is binding upon everyone. Thus, his personal Sunnah is clearly distinct from the legal Sunnah which he brought. An example of this distinction is when the Prophet came to Madeenah[4] and found the inhabitants artificially pollinating the date palm trees. When he asked them why they did so, they replied that it was their habit. He suggested to them that maybe if they did not do it; it may be better. So they gave it up and the following year their crop was greatly diminished. When they told him of this he replied: I am only a human being. When I issue any command to you regarding your religion, then accept it, but when I issue any command to you based on my own opinion, I am merely a human being[5].
Islaam is a religion which singles out Allaah alone for worship. It is for this reason that the possibility of Muhammad being anything more than a man, is totally absurd. As him being the Messenger of Allaah we believe that his Sunnah is infallible, but at the same time we maintain a perfect balance by remembering the words of Allaah: Say (O Muhammad) : I am only a man like you (except that) it has been revealed to me that your God is one God (Surah Al-Kahf 18:110). True Muslims will follow Muhammad, not worship him. So
What are the benefits of the Sunnah?
One of the scholars of the past, Imam Malik[6], said: The Sunnah is like the ark of Noah. Whoever embarks upon it achieves salvation and whoever rejects it, is drowned[7].
This salvation is the admittance into Paradise and avoiding the fire of Hell. Regret is a terrible state. But regret on the Day of Judgment will be even worse for the one who did not follow the Sunnah: And remember the day when the wrongdoer will bite at his hand and say: Oh! Would that I had taken the path of the Messenger (Surah Al-Furqan 25:27). This regret will continue during the punishment: On the day the faces will be tossed about in the fire, they will say: Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allaah and his Messenger (Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:67).e On the other hand, the one who adhered to the Sunnah will attain the ultimate benefit: Whoever obeys Allaah and his Messenger will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow to live there (forever), and that will be the great achievement (Surah An-Nisa 4:13). This is further confirmed by the Prophet himself when he said: He who obeys me enters paradise, and he who disobeys me refuses to enter paradise[8].

I am the greatest criterion and the Imam for those after me the provider of relief for those before me. No one is permitted to be ahead of me except Ahmad (s.a.). I and he are on the same path except that he is called Ahmed (the most praiseworthy). I have been given six things. I have been the knowledge of deaths, that of the sufferings, that of the wills and the clear speech. That I have been give the power to attack the enemy, the power subdue the adversary, that I am the owner of the staff and Maysam and the being that would speak to people."

We all know, Ali radi allahu anhu, NEVER uttered these words.

Wal3iyaathubillaah, doesn´t he know that Allah said in the Qur´aan:
Know you not that it is Allâh to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? And besides Allâh you have neither any Walî (protector or guardian) nor any helper. (Al-Baqarah 2:107)

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn Udhayna from Fudayl ibn Yasar, Burayd ibn Mu‘wiya and Zurarah who have said that ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Abd al-Malik said the following to abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.), "The Zaydi sect and al-Mu‘tazali group circle around Muhammad ibn ‘Abdallah. Does he have any authority?" The Imam (a.s.) said, "I swear by Allah that with me there are two books in which there is the name of every prophet and the name of every king that would rule on earth. No, I swear by Allah, the name of Muhammad ibn ‘Abdallah is not in the list as one of them."
The Narration is saying, that Muhammad ibn Abdullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, is not mentioned as one of the prophets. Astaghfirullah!

The supplication of the Two Idols of Quraysh

Look at the unbelievable supplication they have made, called "The supplication of the Two Idols of Quraysh", by two idols of the Qurayish, they mean Abu bakr and Umar radi allahu anhum. But yet, wenn you ask them, they will tell you they don´t make takfir on the Companions. Well WHAT IS THIS I ASK?

The Translation:

"O' Allah, sal ala Muhamed wa ala aal Muhamed and curse the two idols of Quraysh (Abu Bakr and Omar), its (Quraysh's) two sorcerers, its two tyrants, its two liars, and their two daughters (Aysha and Hafsah) who (Abu Bakr and Omar) disagreed with your order, denied your revelation, rejected your goodness, disobeyed your messenger, altered your religion, tampered (harafa) with your Book (Al-Quran), loved your enemy, rejected your lovers, suspended your verdicts, invalidated your orders, did not believe in your proves, antagonized your lovers, patronized your foes, ruined your country, and corrupted your slaves, O' Allah curse them both, their followers, their lovers, their people, their adherents, their partisans, their disciples ............."

That was the Supplication of the Two idols of Quraysh, who the shia bestowed a great importance on it and the shia scholars consider it as a valid supplication. The shia scholars who mentioned that supplication in their books are many, they are not limited to the following, but just as an example: Al-Kaf'ami, Al-Kashani, Al-Nouri Al-Tubrisi, Asadallah Al-Haeiri, Murtada Hussain, Mandhoor Hussain, Al-Karkey, Al-damad Al-Hussaini, Al-Majlisi, Al-Tasaturi, Abu Al-Hassan Al-Amily, Abdullah Shubbar, Al-Haeiri, Mirza Habeeballah and many many more. They are all Ayatuallah, who has the highest rank in shia clergy.

Also their Imam Khomeini approved it. In a book called Tuhfat Al-Owam Maqbool, the following scholars agreed on the authenticity of the supplication:

2. Ayatulallah Sayyed Abu Al-Qasim Al-Kho'ei
